The best Pupusas in California and everywhere, all you have to do is try them and go empty stomach, you will eat more than you think!
Super delicious food and affordable. The servers are friendly. However, expect to wait longer than the usual.
Great Salvadoran food their bistec encebollado is so delicious pupusas are good I've had better. Very clean great service just make sure you bring cash ( cash only) they have an atm 🏧 by the entrance though.
Found a fly inside the pupusa.Very disappointed.
Generous sized delicious pupusas! They have a big menu, during lunch expect a little bit of a wait for regular (non pupusa) dishes, worth the wait. My friends like their chicken soup and the turkey or chicken sandwich.
My favorite place for pupusas. Unfortunately they are closing at the end of this year 😔
Ghetto fish spot Better bring your gun
Hidden awsy from the hustling and bustling Main Street, the north Berendo street at Beverly Blvd, this family owned restaurant is a hidden gem. Authentic salvadorean food. Price is marginally okay, for a family of four it could be between 40 to 50 smackers. But the food is great and service is fast and excellent. This is a house turned into a restaurant. Only downsize is parking. If not great place for excellent food.
Good Salvadorian food. Pupusas, Panes con Pavo
Bomb Place Good Pupusas Great environment Little Pricey is Kool
Ok, so here is the deal. We moved here to the west coast 3 years ago and have been dying for some good pupusas....well, we were in LA for a charity event and the family we were with said they knew the right place. Well, let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The pupusas are the size of a small dish and freshly made. Ordered more than I could eat, so took some home for dinner.
Great location for delicious Salvadoran food. This place is absolutely outstanding. I look forward to a return trip. Prices are reasonable I would say. Makes me feel like I am back in Sacramento.
Favorite place of all times!Definitely in my top 3 places to go eat in the United States ❤️I recommend the pupusas, carne asada plate, sopa de Pollo. Bon appetit !
The pupusas are wonderful. 4 stars for the lack of attentiveness of the waitress and because my steak with onion was more like an onion entree with a touch of meat. Not worth the price. The pupusas are a delight however, very delicious.
So bad so sad so unsatisfied about the service No Chili there.. bad!
Best pupusas in town.
Pupusas but no curtido! Wats that about!?
First time trying Pupusas, which is what this place is known for. Maybe I'm not a Pupusa guy, but I was underwhelmed. My friends thought it was good, but not great. Can't say the same about the service though. We went during a time when there were but a few patrons, and the service was still glacial. Waitress came and wiped our table with a knarly wet cloth. I'm not a dainty guy, but we had to move tables after that because we couldn't deal the residual smell out of that wet cloth.
Consistently good every single time.
Nobody should try to eat more than 2 pupusas. Don't let the menu price fool you, they are full size.
I've been to this location several times now, food is taste fresh and well cook recently. The pupusas are a must have at this location.Service is fast and very friendly, if you have no clue what to order ask for recommendations. Drinks are a little pricey but understandable since they are exported (most of them). Parking is available behind the restaurant, alas it's a small lot (5 cars only). Also, highly recommend to try the Chicken Soup if you are feeling with low energy.
Good Pupusas and Very good service
This is definitely authentic Salvadoran food. From the pupusas to the platano Fritos it's the best you will ever have. The fresco de ensalada is worth the visit! It refreshing and delicious with real fruit! It's a small homie location with great authentic Salvadorean flavors! Ordering to go or calling in your order is always great.
The wait for order pick up is ridiculous. Your better off staying in and eating. Rude customer service!
Food is great plus they have good customer service,
Best pupusas place hands down
The food is excellent, one of the best pupusas can be found here. It does get crowded and it is a little slow to serve food but very much worth it
Very yummy, fresh Pupusas! They're moving to a new location Jan. 1st 2020Jaragua Restaurant on Beverly blvd.
Been coming here since 2007 and they never disappoint! Love this place the best place to get a pupusa or tamal!
I love this place , the casamiento with fried plaintain are so good..it is my favorite dish ...
one of the best hole in the wall, central american food with excellent customer service.
Authentic El Salvadoran restaurant complete with El Salvadoran beers. Personally I find the food a little bland (Asian palate) however judging by the number of el Salvadorans in the restaurant, this seems to be a good place for local el Salvadoran fare.
I ordered the asado plate & my co-workers ordered the cheese & pork pupusas..very tasty, good prices and friendly service.
This place has good food and attentive servers. Authentic salvadorian food. The casamiento isn't that great, bland and tasted old. But other then that everything else is delicious! Recommend pupusas revueltas!
10 years ago, one of the best places to go and have a real authentic Salvadorian meal, now days it does not reflect that anymore. I just try the chicken soup and was not as good as in the past. If you go there make sure to bring cash as they won't accept credit cards or other types of payments. So sad on this one as I really loved this place back in the days.
This place is really nice compared to other Salvadorean restaurants in LA and the food is good too. The only thing I felt was a bit off was the taste of the beans and the pupusas. I feel that they could have been better, but overall still pretty close to the authentic ones as you can get.
It's a nice place.Down side $cash only!
Amazing food great staff in beautiful Los Angeles.
Love the pupusas and the pan con Pavo and the banana pudding they called empanadas...And Cash only at the restaurant
Very good food. Everything was fresh. Street parking only. Restaurant could use some renovations. Took a while for our waitress to come get our order.
great authentic Salvadorean food. the food takes time to prepare but the wait is well worth it.
Atlacatl, is very special when you talk about Salvadorean food. They make everything very good and tasty. I recommend this place, l like it.
Awesome staff, delicious food, what more can you ask for?
One of my favorite if not my favorite Salvadorian restaurant in LA. When it comes to our cultural foods I am very picky. I want things to taste as if my mom or tia just served me a plate. This place has the flavor and the service. Anyone that asks me where to get Salvi food this is the place. I am not about all these other restaurants in the area serving greasy food to gain a shortcut/profit.
Pupusas are 3.10 and up not 1 90 that's false entire menus is not up to date that's why I gave 2 stars for false advertising not for customers service and I asked why the menu different my waitress said is not their menu which she lie to my face
Really tasty food. My first Pupusa ever! Apparently it's a known must go to establishment by Salvadorians living in Los Angeles... I can see why. Food is apparently very authentic. Will go again.
Tamale de puerco was cold and dry whilch meant they cook the tamale days before and microwave them.
Great wine list with reasonable mark ups. Food of world class.
Very delicious and authentic salvadorean food
Great food, but there is room for improvement both presentation and ambiance
